After Care

Taking good care of your eyelash extensions will keep them looking beautiful longer!

Keep Dry

Do not get the lashes wet for the first 24 hours after your lash extension appointment for proper eyelash extensions after care.

  • Avoid physical activity that involves heavy sweating

  • Avoid swimming

  • Avoid spray tanning

Clean Daily

One of the most important eyelash extension after care,to ensure you clean your lashes daily to remove oil build up which can break down the glue. Ensure you use an oil-free cleanser with moisturizing agents. A simple micellar water or professional lash extension cleanser is recommended.

Par Dry

After cleansing or showering, never rub the lashes dry, always gently pat dry to remove water in your eyelash extensions.

Comb Daily

Eyelash extensions can tangle and lay on top of each other. This is normal with extensions making it important that you use the provided lash comb daily to untangle the lashes. Doing so will ensure your lash extensions will last longer.

Do NOT Rub Or Pick

Rubbing the yes, pulling, tugging and picking at the lash extensions will make the lashes fall off faster. Not only that, it can also cause your natural lashes to be pulled out by the root or speed up the shedding of your natural lashes. To ensure long-lasting results, avoid all of the above!

Avoid Oil-Based Products

Oil Breaks down the glue that is used to bong the lash extensions to your natural lashes. Make sure you avoid using oil-based products around the eye area while you have eyelash extensions. This can include nut not limited to:

  • Cleansers

  • Micellar Water

  • Eye Cream

  • Face Cream

  • Facial Oils

  • Toners

  • Cream Eyeshadows

  • Facial Mists

Limit Eye Makeup

Generally, if you are getting eyelash extensions, you should not feel the need to use any mascara. You can of course still use eye makeup, but it's best to be wise on what you should avoid using while you have eyelash extensions. For longer lasting extensions, consider avoiding the following products:

  • Water-proof Makeup

  • Mascara

  • Fake Eyelash Strips

  • Cream Eyeshadows

If you would like to use mascara, make sure you use a water-based mascara that contains zero oil. Make sure you always fully and carefully remove the mascara to limit damage to the eyelash extensions.

Other Tips

If you want your eyelash extensions to last the longest, refills are a great way to achieve this. refills are generally recommended around 2-3  weeks after your initial application. Of course, this time frame depends on whether or not you followed the proper eyelash extension after care and on your natural lashes shedding. The more your lashes naturally shed their hairs, the faster your lash extensions will fall out. Generally, lashes have a 100-day lifestyle.

Go from little or no extensions, to a full set of extensions. Classic eyelash extensions are done by placing individual lash extension to each individual lash.
